Jul 03, 2019 Hi, guys, I used to have no problem to connect to the Windows Server 2012 R2 Standard from my Windows 10 PC using Remote Desktop Connection.but recently I start to get this error: 'The remote session was disconnected because there are no remote desktop license. May 01, 2014 The remote session was disconnected because there are no Remote Desktop License Servers available to provide a license. Please contact the server administrator. Assuming your licensing configuration is valid and you have licenses available, if you receive the above error the problem is likely an expired “GracePeriod” registry key.

Here is a fix to the following error message with Remote Desktop ConnectionDesktop ConnectionDesktop Connection when you try to connect to a machine: “Remote session was disconnected because there are no Remote Desktop client access licenses available for this computer. Please contact the server administrator“
3 Steps total
Step 1: The solution is delete the following registry key:HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESOFTWAREMicrosoftMSLicensing
The solution is delete the following registry key:HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESOFTWAREMicrosoftMSLicensing
Step 2: Try connecting in again
If it doesn’t work and you get the following error message: “The remote computer disconnected the session because of an error in the licensing protocol“;
Step 3: Still does not work?
Then all you need to do is Right-Click on the Remote Desktop Connection icon and select “Run as Administrator“.
